Don't drag out your heavy circular saw for simple cuts. The Versacut makes quick jobs even simpler. With the exception of framing houses, most cuts made with circular saws are on materials less than 1” thick. With the VersaCut's slim grip handle, the enhanced grip and control allow you to guide the saw with just one hand.
To use, simply release the lever, move the indicator to the desired depth, lock the lever, and make the cut. Turn on the laser indicator to guide where the blade will cut. It really is that easy.
The Versacut is durable with its steel base and metal inner and outer guards designed for prolonged life. Place your material, grab the Versacut, set the depth and make the cut!

Great tool for an old house!
For old house work, this saw can make cuts in tight spots that other saws can't do very well. I use it for squaring up and cutting out sheeting and flooring when I need a straight cut with depth control. This can cut down the center of a stud or joist without cutting too deep or jamming a sabersaw or sawsall blade. The blades are fairly inexpensive and have held up well to my occational encounters with nails.
