I make wood art at Hooked On A Blue Life online and this is a a great product! I'm use to sewing, and added wood art to my products, I was really scared to use the scroll saw because when the blade would break it would keep going and I was nervous to use it. Excellent addition
It works fine, it's an improvement and upgrade for my woodworking tools (scroll saw, jig saw, small table saw, etc...)I will buy more for my other tools.

Footswitch awesome for control
This Deadman's floor switch is great to control my scroll saw and wood lathe while keeping both hands available for the job at hand. I could also see it being used with my router table, but haven't done that yet. Simply place it in line of the power tool, activate the power tool's switch (no it won't turn on), then press the foot switch (that's when the tool operates. Take your foot off the switch, and the tool stops. It's that simple and safe. The only thing I question a bit is it's durability. Yes it's plastic, but that can be pretty tough too. What about sawdust getting inside to the switch? It may have a sealed switch - so only time will tell on both of these issues.

Added level of safety for the mini lathe and band saw. Six months and thousands of cycles without any problem.

Good Value
Bought this to use with my scroll saw but can see a number of other uses for it. May get a couple more since it really is a pretty good value for the money and does what it's intended to do quite well. Might be too light weight for some uses, however, and could slip around on certain floor types.

Timesaver and improved safety
I utilize the switch on a drill press so that I can keep one hand on the piece and one on the drill so that I can keep alignment accurate for drilling the hole. May not stand up to heavy production work but could not ask for a better price for my home shop.
