Each 2/83" thick sheet measures 48" in length and 4-1/2" to 6-1/2" in width. The convenient 12 square foot packs are perfect for applications both large and small. Maple wood veneer is sometimes referred to as hard maple or white maple. Maple has a creamy white to light yellow wood that ages to a deep pale gold color. Maple is a dense hardwood, relatively easy to work with and strong. It has a smooth texture and tight uniform grain. It will accept stains and finishes well but is often finished with a clear coat that preserves the warmth and accentuates the color and beauty of the wood’s natural grain.

    Dissappointing and Not as Advertized

    This veneer is buckled and wavey. This is expected on crotch veneer but not this type.. Requires extensive flattening before use. Also, it is listed as 48 1/2" long. It isn't, it's just a fraction over 48" and in fact the package from the mfr is labeled 48". The 48 12" dimensio was critical for me so it was unusable and it got returned. Woodcraft should spell out the need for flattening and stop misrepresenting the length.

    Amazing!!!

    I use this veneer to make fingerboards. The veneer came to me in the best condition. The packaging was very sturdy and kept the veneer from splitting or damaging.
