      Much Improved JessEm Stand

JessEm must have improved their quality control and instructions from when the other review was submitted back in 2009. I found the table to be very well made, better than expected. The instructions were very clear and every part fit perfectly. I spent about 30 min putting the table together and used a second set of hands once or twice to make the job a bit easier. Attaching the JessEm top to the stand also went very well. At first it appeared that the holes to attach the sides of the table to the stand did not match up but once I loosened the stands top screws I was able to match them up very easily. The stand was also easy to level with the adjustable feet.

      ROUTER TABLE

The table was sturdy and well made. The two problems were the lack of clarity in the instructions concerning which metal bars were to go where (the long ones, or the short ones-- but this could simply be my lack of comprehension!) and 4 out of the 32 threaded inserts did not have threads over the complete length. For two of those, I was able to force the bolt through, but for the other two, I had to knock the inserts out, and then struggle to insert nuts in the legs and hold them while I tightened them. It took me two and half hours to assemble this table! JESSEM needs to beef up their quality control.
