Meh...
Let's start with the good: okay handle if you like plastic and decent price on sale, take edge quickly. Now the bad: need significant flattening, squaring of tips right out of box as they are definitely angled, not accurate widths, and dull quickly. When you can dull them to a rolled edge after a short amount of use, they are officially soft. Chalk these up to learning about tools. When I get around to buying a good set, I'll relegate these to blunt chisel use as light scrapers where they might work decently.

Good Enough
These are good for the money Yes they will need worked right out of the pack...so invest a couple hours in sharpening and flattening the backs. But I just finished a major project with and they held up fine To me these are great workhorse tools...but upgrade if you intent to do more precision work

Don't combine metric and fractional size
The combination of metric and fractional sizes DOES NOT WORK!! There are no correct matches. For example, the 3/8"- 10 mm chisel measured .398" - .399", which is close to 10 mm (.3937), but is .023" - .024" oversize for a 3/8" chisel (.375). I had to grind the edges of all the chisels to get them to +/- .002" of the required fractional sizes. This is unacceptable. My older set of Marples (before Irwin bought them) is a good set and sizes are accurate.

Excellent quallity
The extra for the sharpening is well worth the price. It makes it easy to resharpen since they had a professional edge already on them.

Irwin Chisels Blue Chip 6 pc.
I bought these thinking they would be similar to the Marples that my father had, but was disappointed when I opened the box. The finish quality was poor in my opinion. The plastic handles had a rough seam from the mold and were scratched up. Also the finish of the steel at the handle was poor, and the box had minor damage inside. These weren't inexpensive chisels so hopefully Marples/Irwin will improve there finish quality as they had a good product.

excellent set, good price
As most chisels that you purchase out of the box, they do require initial sharpening. however, once sharp they hold the edge very well, feel great in your hand, and so far have taken great punishment.
