An oversized clamping knob allows cutting angles to be securely set anywhere between 5 degree stops. Four patented expansion disks adjust the GlideLOCK Miter Bar for zero side play, anti-friction travel on all shop tools with standard (or near standard) miter gauge channels. All of the V27's incredible precision will actually show up in your work because the bar can't wiggle around in the slot. Vertical work support surface doubles as a Universal Mounting Bracket that makes it easy to add just about any fence if you ever need one

Excellent
This mitre gauge does it for me. Has 2 slots for adding a piece of wood to the face of it, and once locked down does not move. The only downside I see is that it would be nice if it came with a storage pouch or something. Otherwise, excellent item.

Excellent for bandsaws and router tables
I needed a quality miter gauge for use with a bandsaw and router table. The V27 provides the accuracy with a shop supplied custom wooden fence without requiring the removal of an incompatible aluminum fence.

I ordered this item for my husband for Christmas. I specified the billing to be sent to me (my name, same address), and the tool to be addressed to my husband. The tool came addressed to my husband but unfortunately they enclosed the cost in with his present. Maybe if I had asked them to gift wrap the tool, they would have figured it out?

Dissapointing
When I tried to attach a fence to the "vertical support surface", I found that the the gauge was not perpendicular to the slide/table surface - it was off by nearly 4 degrees. Pretty disappointing. I know this is not the top-of-the-line miter gauge, but seriously?

The instructions were clear and concise. No problem with initial setup and it works like a champ. Now my miters are 45 degrees, not simply close enough.

Perfect Upgrade
Purchased this to upgrade the one that came with my old Craftsman table saw. This thing is amazing! Very very accurate, very easy to setup after taking it out of the box. I do small projects so I didn't need anything too crazy and this is perfect!

Disappointment
This gauge is easy to use, but the degree notches on the protractor are inaccurate- on mine, it was off by two degrees. This is easy to compensate for if you have a good square or supplementary protractor, but for the price I'd say I was disappointed.
