Hut Perfect Pen Polish not only removes small scratches but also gives a durable finish to pens and other small turning projects. The secret is Hut’s proprietary formula – a unique blend of synthetic wax and inert polishing compounds. Best results are obtained by first using PPP Satin (123043) before applying PPP Gloss. Sand to between 400 and 600 grit prior to application. Product may be applied directly to the turning or to a buff first and then the turning.

  • Easiest way that we have found to finish pens, pencils, and other small turning projects
  • Removes fine scratches
  • Economical
  • Durable finish

    Brilliant stuff

Love the high gloss finish this product produces. On hard, not very porous wood (maple, cherry, walnut) I use 2 coats of friction polish followed by one oat of Hut High Gloss. The finish is brilliant, crystal clear and lasts. For more porous/ open grained wood like mahogany I go with 2-3 coats of friction polish then1 coat of Hut satin followed by 1 coat of Hut high gloss. Of all the combinations I’ve tried, this combo takes less than 2 minutes and rivals any other.

    Wow...need I say more?

The best I have ever used... If you have a super glue finish it will make it shinier than a pretty penny! Even with out super glue on the pen.

Works well but read the instructions

The High Gloss Wax comes into itself when the surface preparation has been properly done....using micro mesh up to 12000 and then the wax with a warm buff to bring up a high gloss finish......you need to let it cool down before touching otherwise it may cause finger marks on the new surface - let it cure as it's well worth the wait...all up a good addition to the polishing arsenal and will replace other methods now

    Easy To Use

PPP Is best used in conjunction with CA glue finish. After sanding with micro grit I use 3 coats and get a glossy yet durable finish wich makes the pens attractive and practical

    wax finishing bar

The wax finish bar works well either applied to the work or applied to a buffing wheel. I pefer to use it with a soft buffing wheel. I drag it across the working wheel lightly and move the work piece around evenly, repeat to increase the shime. Good product also used with other hut finish bars.
