This Pioneer Screw-Slide Gauge from Crown is made from stabilized bamboo and brass with high carbon steel marking pins. It can mark a line from 0-2" and mortise and tendon lines from 0"-4". One side of the Marking and Mortising Gauge features a single pin for general marking. The opposite side has double pins, adjustable to approximately 4", for mortise layout. This gauge comes with a brass screw-slide adjustment, as well as a round head brass screw, giving the user more accuracy than a “plain” pull slide.
