Simply drill a 7/32" hole in your wood blank, screw the blank onto the mandrel and turn to your favorite shape!

    Wonderful bottle stoppers!

    Worth every penny, very few bottles will not seal well enough to lay down on their sides. Have made hundreds of bottle stoppers with these and they sell, look and work better than the triangular ones. They look more refined and I have been able to sell these at a higher price because of this. Started working with these before mandrels were available, just used grade 5 bolts with head cut off. Works well.

    Nice quality, good value

    These wine stoppers arrived with silicone o-rings rather than the black rubber as shown, which is an improvement since the silicone stays more flexible and does not add a flavor to the wine. The small 1/4x20 mandrel thread failed to hold some of the turnings, but all things considered the product made nice gifts.

    Best design of all

    So many wine bottle stoppers do not seal the bottle. This one DOES. Big, bulky cone-shaped stoppers do not seal as well as this style. I have sold over 400 stoppers with this as the base. Black titanium and stainless steel are available, but a little pricey. The chrome is a very good value for the money!

    good, but flaws

    Very nice kit, seals well. The biggest complaint is that the kit requires a mandrel with a very thin shank - this can break when hogging out material on the lathe, so a delicate touch is required.
