Straight Grain Supply® Axe Sharpening Stone is a two-sided, two-grit, round stone. Its intended purpose is for quickly maintaining the edge on an axe, hatchet and all edged tools. Each stone is made from Aluminum Oxide, which allows the stone to cut fast and does not require oil to be added to the sharpening process. The 240 grit removes scratches, rolls and blunting, while the 400 grit brings the blade back to a razor's edge. Small and lightweight, this stone is perfect to take with you into the field.
