    The Oliver 4455 22” Planer puts other planers to shame. With a Byrd Shelix™ cutterhead and super wide capacity, it’ll handle stock up to 22” wide, and take up to 3/16” off in a single pass. But volume isn’t everything, this machine comes with either a 7.5HP 1Ph or 10HP 3Ph motor to meet the demands of various sized shops.

    Features:
    • BYRD Shelix carbide inserts are indexed for quick changing.
    • Massive cast iron construction throughout.
    • Polished built-in table roller assists movement of rough stock.
    • Segmented infeed roller and sectional chip breaker easily handle rough stock.
    • 2-speed gear box (20/30 FPM) provides the perfect feed rate.
    • Magnetic controls with emergency off switch for safer operation.
    • Digital readout allows precise thickness settings.
    • Hinged access to cutter head and feed rollers for quick set-up.
    • Easy access to motor, drive train, and gearbox assist in maintenance and adjustment with 5" dust port for chip removal
    • Powerful TEFC 10HP 3Ph 220V/440V (prewired 220V) with three V-belts smoothly transferring power to drive train and cutter head.

    Return Information

    Returns are accepted by Oliver Machinery within 30 days of receipt. Return Materials Authorization (RMA) required prior to return. A 20% restocking fee will be applied. Customer responsible for return freight. Contact Woodcraft Customer Service for return assistance at 1-800-225-1153.

    Warranty Information

    Oliver Machinery warrants its products to the original customer as free from defects for a period of two years on parts and 1 year for the electronics and motor.
