Intro To Woodcarving

We have a great class for anyone interested in Woodcarving. Students will learn how to carve with basic techniques, how to sharpen your tools and how to select that perfect piece of wood. Using only a knife, students will carve a 3D Basswood project. This is an excellent beginner class for adults and children who are considering Woodcarving as a new and fun hobby. Folding Rocking Chair

Part 2: Sunday, May 11, 11 AM - 5 PM

Are you ready to take your woodworking skills to the next level? You will build your own truly unique folding rocking chair under the hands-on guidance of the chair’s designer. Made from high quality cherry and maple woods, it is sure to become a family heirloom. In the class, we will use the bandsaw, table saw, miter saw, drill press, drum sander, drill, router, and hand tools. If you have some basic woodworking experience, come join us! Class size is limited to 4 students.

In this class you too can make this striking project from maple, cherry and walnut. Join Louis and help rustle up some wood, clamps and water-resistant glue and get started.
