We’ll show you how to incorporate vibrant colors, metallics, and even organic elements like flowers or stones to make your board one-of-a-kind. Turning a Wooden Pen

Sunday, May 11, 4 PM - 7 PM

Join us in this pen turning class and learn the basics of pen making including stock selection, turning techniques, and assembly of the pen. You will leave with a completed pen to keep or give as a gift. Materials included for one pen.

Beginner Carving Class

Part 1: Tuesday, May 13, 5 PM - 8 PM

Part 2: Tuesday, May 20, 5 PM - 8 PM

This class is designed for a beginner with no previous experience. We will focus on the first day on the best feel and correct handling of the carving knife. You will learn the importance of cutting with the grain and how to determine which way the grain is going. We will also talk about sharpening your knife. We will practice those techniques by crafting a small bird.
