Learn the art of making pictures using different colors of wood. In this class we will create a flower project to show the basics of how to create stunning effects. Basic Scrollsaw knowledge is necessary.
Beginners class. Learn the procedures for turning pens out of acrylic, finishing techniques and assembly. You can come with no experience and leave with a finished pen.
In terms of woodworking power tools, hand-held routers are very useful in the workshop considering how easy they are to use freehand or paired with a jig. Mounting a router into a table turns this handy tool into a powerful machine. This arrangement leaves your hands free to manipulate the work, and enables you to use stops, fences, and hold-downs to control the cut. This orientation also offers a fresh vantage, allowing you to see what the bit is doing to the work. Using a table-mounted router isn't difficult, but it isn't fool-proof. This class will teach you tips and techniques to get the most out of this useful tool.
