Learn to turn a beautiful pepper mill that will be cherished for years to come! This class is designed to enhance your turning skills and tool sharpening skills. Each student will be taught the step-by-step procedures for forming and turning a peppermill. The following tools are required for this class: Face shield or safety glasses, dust mask, ruler, pencil, 3/8” Fingernail Spindle Gouge, ¾” Roughing Gouge, 3/16” Parting Tool, 1/16” Parting Tool, Outside Calipers, and digital calipers. Class Refund Policy: No Refunds for Cancellations/Reschedules within 7 days of Class date.

Jim is our resident hand tool expert. He will show the students how to layout and cut mortise and tenon joints using hand tools. The process is not as hard as one would think, and the students will go home with the confidence to create joinery the old fashion way, by hand. All tools are provided by the instructor.
