Hand Cut Mortise and Tenon

Jim is our resident hand tool expert. He will show the students how to layout and cut mortise and tenon joints using hand tools. The process is not as hard as one would think, and the students will go home with the confidence to create joinery the old fashion way, by hand. All tools are provided by the instructor.

Turn A Platter

Learn to turn a beautiful 10" wooden platter! This platter would look great displayed on a shelf, or used as a charcuterie platter. The following tools are required for this class: Face shield/ safety glasses, dust mask/ respirator, ruler, pencil, 1/2" fingernail bowl gouge, 1" round nose scraper, 3/8" fingernail spindle gouge, 3/16" parting tool, 1/16" parting tool, 1/4" beading tool (optional). Class Refund Policy: No Refunds for Cancellations/Reschedules within 7 days of Class date.
