Intro To Laser Design With Lightburn

In this introductory course, students will learn the basics of creating designs for laser machines, students will learn how to create and scale text and vector images. Students will learn how to adjust power and speed for thru cuts or engraving of different materials. The focus of this class is learning the software, there will not be time for each student to individually run the laser machine for something they can take home but the instructor will demonstrate setting up and running a laser machine. No prior experience with laser machines is necessary.

Make an acrylic pen from start to finish. In this class you will cut the acrylic, drill the hole and glue in the tubes. You'll learn the lathe parts and use carbide tools and to turn, sand, polish and assemble an acrylic slim line pen.
