This class is dedicated to the band saw. A great opportunity to ask any questions about band saws such as blades, guides, resawing or maintenance etc. This will be a hands-on class to construct your own band saw box and to increase your skills.
Learn how to make your own picture frames using standard lumber. We'll cover the basics of routing profiles, cutting rabbits, joinery, assembling and hanging the frame. You will create your own 8 by 10 picture frame. Finishing suggestions will be included
This introduction class will highlight the relief method of hand carving. Topics will be on over-all techniques, pattern transfer, types of knives, cutting methods, holding practices, depth attention as well as sharpening and safety. You will work on a small hands-on project during the class.
