This class will cover the basics of laser engraving. We will talk about the different types of lasers and what they are good for. We will look at the types of graphic files required for laser machines. We will then do some sample cuts and engraving on the Xtool laser.

This introductory CNC (Computer Numeric Control) seminar will offer tips and advice on the SHARK CNC machine which uses the V Carve Pro software. Set up of a project will go from concept through completion and invite your interactions or questions along the way. If you have thoughts about a purchase or just starting out, this class is for you. Those with V Carve on their lap-top can get their own help if time permits.
