Joe will guide you through the steps of design, cutting on the bandsaw, and hand carving your spoon. This is a great class if you are just starting out in woodworking or if you want to add woodcarving to your repertoire. All skill levels welcome. It will be our pleasure and honor to see you in the class.
Few tools are as essential to woodworking as the lathe. It is an indispensable tool for turning furniture parts, platters, bowls, and other one-of-a-kind pieces. David Dick, a well versed workshop turning expert will introduce you to the lathe and the fundamental techniques that can be accomplished with it. He then allows you to turn a bowl of your own to practice your newly acquired skills. What better way to get proficient on the lathe than to start "turning" your own bowls.
