Using the PM1100 Plywood Mobile Base Kit from Bora Portamate made this project super easy. You just cut the plywood a little oversized for the footprint of your tool and install the hardware. It's super low profile, only raising the tool up about an inch so everything is still comfortable and easy to use.
The hardest part is getting a friend to come over to help you lift the tool onto the base.
