Noden Razor Makes Inlay a Snap

We caught up with Geoff Noden at our vendor trade show in Columbus, OH with a revolutionary new process for cutting inlay.  Woodworkers of all skill levels are now able to adorn their woodworking projects with an unlimited variety of inlay, the likes of which have never been seen before.  The Noden Inlay Razor is the key to this innovative, elegant process of cutting custom end-grain inlay that was developed and patented by master furnituremaker, Geoff Noden.  Using razor–embedded blocks makes what would seem like a tedious process go very quickly, while maintaining a safe procedure while using these tools.  The cutting arm rotates 60° left or right of center to further change the design. Made entirely in the USA.

With the Noden Inlay Razor Tool, which is available at Woodcraft, you’ll be adding your own creative artistry into your projects.  This product will help turn your woodworking into true art.  It includes four cutting blocks (straight, curved, S-shaped and corner), a pair of tweezers and an instructional DVD to get you started.  After that the sky is the limit.  Let Geoff show you an additional jig in this video that you can make with 2 routers.

Here are just a few of Geoff’s works of art made with the Noden Inlay Razor,

Geoff was also featured in the February/March Issue #39 of Woodcraft Magazine, showing you how to build this display cabinet.

This is a very addicting craft, but don’t take it from me, try it yourself and you’ll see what I mean.

auf Wiedersehen!…Frank
