Drilling Tiny Parts

I do a lot of miniature woodworking, and have had to learn how to handle tiny workpieces. One problem I regularly face is safely holding small parts at the drill press. When they’re too little to hold firmly in a vise or handscrew, I simply press them firmly down onto a piece of double-faced tape attached to a backup panel, which holds the piece in place for drilling. I use the same trick when I need to shape a small piece on a disc sander or belt sander.
