This class is an introduction to woodworking. It features the basic tools to make wood straight, flat and square. Students will use the jointer, planer, table saw, miter saw, and router table. Glue up and clamping techniques will also be covered. The output of this class will be a charcuterie board.
Having trouble with a refinish project? Well then, this class is for you. Techniques to show you how to know when something needs to be sanded down and work from scratch or it can be saved.
This course will review the features of the safest saw in the world-Sawstop! Instruction will also cover the major parts of any table saw and how to fine tune one. Bill will also discuss the different blade descriptions and their applications along with other helpful accessories. Finally, demonstration with hands-on practice to stay safe while using the work horse of any shop. A small box will be completed by every student.
