Topics discussed will include but are not limited to : Vectric V-Carve Software, NextWave CNC Shark/Piranha Router, lines versus vectors, CNC Router bits, file set up and output, V-carving (letter engraving), pocket engraving, drilling patterns, creating and editing toolpaths and work set up (material to be machined). There will also be a demonstration of a simple v- carving. Class Format: Primarily informational(Lecture) with a short computer tutorial at the end.
