Discover the art of relief carving by creating a beautiful, three-dimensional design on a flat wood surface. In this hands-on class, students will choose from several animal and nature-inspired patterns and learn to bring their designs to life with depth and realism. You’ll learn how to lay out your design, make precise cuts, and refine details for a polished finish. Perfect for both beginners and returning students who want to develop their carving skills and explore new techniques. $15 Materials Fee Payable to Instructor.

Discover the world of making beautiful pictures with wood. In this class Saman will teach you how to design, cut and assemble varies pieces of wood to make a beautiful picture of a bird on a branch. The finished piece can then be either displayed on it's own or incorporated into a box lid or other project. This is a hand tool class and will teach the student wood selection, how to use a fret saw, scrapers and how to glue up a multi piece panel. $20 Materials Fee Payable to Instructor
