Spindle turning is one of the main types of woodturning. This class will allow you to practice the basic techniques necessary to produce any spindle. All basics will be covered, including the lathe, tool selection for spindle turning, sharpening, lumber selection, and the cuts necessary to make lathe-turned spindles successfully. Wood will be provided for the project.
