Students will create a custom project by adding text, importing a graphic, setting up toolpaths, and machining their design, and gaining hands-on experience with the CNC process.

Wood Finishing: An Introduction

In this demonstration class, the instructor will cover sealers, stains, dyes, and hand applied finishes. They will focus on various types of topcoats both water borne and solvent based, as well as some spray finishes. Proper sanding techniques will also be addressed. Each student is responsible for supplying their own safety glasses, hearing protection, notebook, and pencil.
