River Cast Style Charcuterie Board - CLS1004

Part 1: Thursday, June 5, 6 PM - 9 PM

Part 2: Thursday, June 12, 6 PM - 9 PM

Create a beautiful 9"X16" Charcuterie board (cheese board) using a river casting technique with wood and resin. You will learn to minimize and eliminate air bubbles, build a mold, and mix color and resin. When cured, release the mold, sand and apply a finish that will make this a one of a kind Charcuterie board. Student will need to purchase a 4"X36" board of their choice. All other supplies are included.

Basic Woodcarving - CLS173

Part 1: Tuesday, June 10, 6 PM - 9 PM

Part 2: Tuesday, June 17, 6 PM - 9 PM

Start with a block of wood and end with your own woodcarving creation. In this class you will learn the basics of woodcarving including knife skills, project layout, and the use of depth and proportion. These basic skills will lead you on a path to a lifetime of woodcarving enjoyment!

Intro To Cabinet Making - CLS014

Have you wanted to do projects such as kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, bookcases, and shop/storage cabinets? If so, this is the class for you. You will learn the common techniques for any of these projects. During this six hour class the instruction will include the selection of materials, dado and rabbet joinery, making face frames and raised panel doors providing you with the fundamental skills to apply to any of these types of projects. During the class, the instructor will build, with class participation, a wall cabinet to demonstrate the basic joinery methods for making the carcass and fabricating the face frame and raised panel doors.
