In this 3 part class you will build upon your skills gained in Woodworking Fundamentals to create this uniquely designed cutting board. By adding Bandsaw skills, you will be able to create this and many more of your own design!
Interested in learning how to turn a pen? You will get expert instruction and take home the Wall Street II pen that you made start to finish in this informative class. Begin by selecting the kit and wood of your choice, tour the pen area and become familiar with the other kits and projects that can be done on a lathe. If you have turning tools, feel free to bring them, however that is not a requirement.
During this two part class, learn and build a basic end table using a miter saw, jointer, planer, table saw. Glue up a panel for the top, and join the base using pocket hole joinery. Limited use of the router for edge profiles will also be involved.
From cutting boards to cabinet doors, learn to set up your drum sander for peak performance.
Learn the features and benefits of various lathes as well as setup and tuning for optimal performance.
Using your router to create projects gets a little easier with a jig or template. We’ll walk you through the basics how to rout with a template.
