Beginning lathe work is easy with this wooden pen making class. Students will learn basic turning techniques on a mini-lathe while making their very own wooden ink pen. Exceptional handouts and instructions will enable students to make additional pens after the class at their homes. You will have a beautiful pen that you can show.
This is a (2) Day Evening Class. In this beginner class you will complete a lidded bowl, with your choice of pewter lids! We have had great success in helping beginning bowl turners in this class. You get personal attention from our teachers on any questions that you might have. Safety, Sharpening, Tool Techniques and Finishing Topics are covered. One of our Best Classes!
