Shop Jigs & Fixtures: Table Saw Crosscut Sled

Part 2: Monday, October 27, 2025, 6 PM - 9 PM

Take this class to make a crosscut sled for your table saw! Students will learn how to make and use a cross-cut sled designed to fit their own table saw, and will also learn about different hold-downs and accessories to increase the versatility of their sled. Each student will leave with a completed crosscut sled, ready to take home and put to use in their shop! NOTE: The tuition includes a pair of Incra 25-1/2" GlideLOCK Steel Miter Slider SE ($46.99/ea), but students can choose to save $90 on tuition by using hardwood runners instead. Box Making 102: Trapezoidal Mitered Box

Join Bill the Box Elder for this fun series of box-making classes and make some of his all-time favorite designs! These classes can be taken in any order, and each box project will present students with unique challenges and cover new techniques, so no matter how many boxes you've made, you're sure to learn something new each time! In this particular session, Bill will guide students through the process of making a trapezoidal shaped box joined using keyed miter construction.

Acrylic Pen Turning

Continue your pen turning journey in this follow-up class to our popular Pen Turning 101! In addition to honing the skills learned in the first session, students will learn the techniques needed to successfully turn and finish a pen using an acrylic blank and a Wall Street II or Slimline pen kit.
