This ZHEN 101-Layer German Damascus Steel 9" Chef’s Knife is a cook’s go-to knife. A workhorse in the kitchen, it is used for slicing and dicing anything from fruits and vegetables to beef and poultry, while its curved belly can also be rocked to finely mince.

ZHEN – “achieving utmost perfection.” More than a definition. More than a knife maker. It’s a commitment to quality.

ZHEN 101-Layer German Damascus Steel Knives embody not only this definition but the commitment as well. Each knife blade is 50 layers of forged welded 410 Martensitic Stainless Steel per side, with a core layer of 1.4125 Martensitic Stainless Steel, making a total of 101 layers that finish out to a hardness of HRC60-62. This composition gives the knife blade a hardness and wear resistance that will allow it to remain razor-sharp while in use. The unique pattern of the blade is complemented by the waterproof and bacteria resistant Pakkawood handle enhanced by the subtle beauty of a mosaic pin. The western style blade and ergonomic handle favor either left- or right-handed users. Give the chef in your life – whether it’s you or someone close to you – the gift of quality to achieve perfection in the kitchen.

DON’T chop bone or use this knife on a hard surface like a glass cutting board, tile, and granite. Hand-wash your blades with gentle dish soap, rinse clean and towel dry immediately.
