Plan No 3
Both chairs have fully adjustable backs with four positions of comfort so one person can be sitting up reading while the other is resting. The spacious table is about 16" wide with plenty of room for food, drinks and books. The chairs are a good size for most adults at 22" wide. Chairs have contoured seats and chair backs.
This is a very sturdy project that is sure to get plenty of use. All patterns are full size and traceable. Many photos are provided which were taken during the construction process for clarity. You also get a list of the lumber you need and detailed instructions for building. All lumber is standard sizes, so there's no need for planing or mill work. You'll be able to find all lumber for this project pretty much anywhere.

I just completed this project, and I'm very happy with the results! It's very comfortable, and all of my friends and family want one now. I was able to do everything with handheld power tools (jigsaw, circular saw, drill, sander), although it would have been nice to have a table saw for ripping the seat slats. I used 2x4 and 2x6 studs, but used nicer premium pine for the 1x4 seat backs and slats. Of course, the instructions tell you exactly how much of each to buy.
Piece of cake
This was a lot of fun for a first timer, directions were easy to follow and the chair came out awesome, now my friends want one. The only disappointment I found was that I needed a work bench instead of a plastic table. As a first timer, I wish the plans were just a little more detailed as to where bolt holes on the legs were to be,other than that it was a breeze, just ordered plans for a work bench.
