Nice additiona to my Wood River chuck
These flat jaws are a must if you use a Wood River chuck and turn bowls. There are definitely ways to get around needing flat jaws (and I always did), but these make finishing the bottom of a smaller bowl a breeze. I state these are good for "small projects", but that is subjective. My idea of a small bowl is less than 7" diameter.

great for larger bowls 8"
glad to have in my tool bag!!!

So Far So Goood
Just started turning bowls. Purchased this to be able to finish the bottoms. Worked great on the two bowls I had to finish. Has both long and short pins. On shallow bowl I had to use the tailstock to hold the bowl on, but was able to clean up the bottom except for a small knob that I planed and sanded off. Good value for the money.

Good but could easily be better.
Overall the product does what I purchased it for but feel that the holding pins could be a bit larger to really make this a five star.

WONDERFUL ADDITION TO A GREAT CHUCK!
A great addition to an already great chuck. Takes a little time to install these jaws onto the chuck but unless you are running a race this is no big deal. Versatile in that it will accommodate a large size range and it does so without damaging the gripping area.

Good Value
Does what the high dollar jaws do at a better price.

Work's great for me
I have just started to turning bowls. It works good for me. Have to take jaws off my wood river chuck to place the flat jaws on. Takes a little time for this.

Kinda cute
For those little bowls that you fear may end up inside your vacuum pump. Or for just fixing up a bottom.
