Item #148156 Model 9540-38NThis Whiteside Precision 3/8" Template Guide Bushing is machined to an exact Outer Diameter (OD) of 3/8" to allow precise centering of a bit inside jigs and templates. Many standard template guide bushings are stamped and lack the overall precision of a machined bushing. In some cases, even some machined bushings may have an OD that is inaccurate. Another problem is that some bushings can be installed such that your router bit is off-center within the bushing. In either case, it is impossible to take full advantage of your precision jig’s ability to produce perfect fitting joints.An alignment pin that mates with the 9/32” Inside Diameter (ID) of the bushing is included so the router bit will be absolutely on-center. The template guide bushing is constructed of brass and includes a matching knurled lock ring. The 3/8" OD Template Guide Bushing works with various shelf pin jigs, box joint templates and most templates. Consult your instruction manual to confirm the size bushing needed. Made in the USA.
