    Works best sideways

Reading the other reviewers complaints about the cord getting in the way of the switch, I mounted mine in the router table with switch in front, the socket to the rear and the cord facing down. With that placement, the cord is hidden and the switch is perfectly placed. One annoyance I had was the mounting holes. They are too big for most screws and washers won't fit either. Expect to be rooting around in your parts drawer looking for screws that fit or a trip to the hardware store to find them.

    switch

the female part of plug would be great on the side instead of the front

Move the outlet to the back or side

This switch does exactly what it is designed to do. I bought it for my router table, and it works great. My complaint is having to route the plug from the router to the front of the switch, does not look professional, and can get in the way. I built my own housing which tightly holds the power cord out of the way.

Works well on my home made router table.

Works well on the router table. Nice large safety on off switch.

    Great product

This product was easily mounted on the leg of my portable router table. It's exactly what was needed and it works so much better than unplugging the cord to stop the unit from running.

    Accessory Power Switch

Used this as a aux on/off switch for my 1 hp shop vac system. Don't have to run up the stairs to turn in on anymore.

    Simple and safe installation

I used it with my table saw, ban saw, lathe. This switch is an excellent addition to my old devices, without safety switches and easy to install. What would be nice is a circuit breaker build inside the device for protection against power surges. My only dislikes are the screws on the back, you need a washer or thin cardboard so as to level the switch. Also, the holes for the slot holder should be larger and wider to install a thicker screw or bolt. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this product.

Works fine but mounting can be a problem

I used this product to power cycle an electronic device (slot machine) whose on/off switch is located internally. The device works fine but due to protruding rear screw heads does not mount to a flat surface flush. I had to use some washer as stand offs.

Design flaw but may be OK for some tools

There is a competing product (also sold by Woodcraft) with two female outlets, both of which are on the backside, with a keyed lockout to prevent accidental ON, altogether a better design.

IAccessory Switch by Riverview -- Great

I watched The Wood Whisperer and discovered he used a simular switch. I decided to use this switch and have found it to be great for my air compressor that is contained in a cabinet. I have found most of your products meet or surpass satisfaction. This works GREAT
