Offset Router Collet Wrench works great!

I would recommend the offset wrench for anyone who has a router mounted on a table.

    Great Quality

I know this off set tool was to be sold for a Porter Cable Router, but work's great with my Milwaukee Router I could not ask for it to work and fit my Router any better. I have the 1 1/2 hp. Milwaukee and it all works great. It need's to be known it will work great for a Milwaukee Router also so someone else with the Milwaukee can use this tool...Works great, Thanks.

Great offset for a double hex nut lock

The Porter Cable double hex nut collet on the 7518 router can be awkward to release for bit changes - especially in a router table. This offset wrench alleviates the changing out of bits by ensuring that the two wrenches required for change out can operate free and clear of each other.

Don't fit with Jess'em router plate

This Wood River is product is heavy duty, nicely made BUT.... It will not work with the Jess'em Router table plate, with my Milwaukee router. I looked at this briefly at the Woodcraft store, and I thought it would fit, but got it home, and nope. The heel or vertical part of the offset interferes with the opening for the round sub-plate. I have a Milwaukee router on my plate, and it requires the 1 1/8 wrench. Disappointing that the designers didn't take a look at this before penning it up.

    exactly as described

fixes a problem changing router bits on a router lift with minimal access to collet.

    Good quality but too big

I agree with a previous writer that this wrench is too big, which makes it basically useless. So I went back to my old wrench. I think this wrench is of great quality and I wish Woodcraft would recall and replace this with one of similar quality but the right size. Fred Virdeh

    prove defective of a product

This wrench too big to fit in opening of plate. Will the router plate of which manufacturer fit?
