Teak (Tecona grandis) is extremely stable, with outstanding rot and decay resistance properties, and is easy to work. Heartwood tends to be golden to medium brown with straight but occasionally wavy or interlocked. Slab measures 1-1/4" x 14" x 47" and has been surfaced on both sides.
