    It could have been better

I've had this device now for a few years and have not relied on it to much. It seems like when ever I want to use it the battery is dead. So it's so inconvenient to have to run around and try to find a replacement battery before I use it. It's like even though you turn it off after use that it's not really "off".

    poor quality

My digital gauge worked exactly twice. Since I knew I'd use it infrequently, I removed the battery each time to avoid problems. It worked twice but on my 3rd attempt the screen just flashes. I tried cleaning the contacts and installing a new battery - didn't help. With only a one year warranty, in essence it cost me $25 for each use.

    disappointed

I received this item friday (two days ago) and used it the first day with great results. The next day I turned it on and portions of the digital display were not working. I have taken the batteries out... cleaned the connections... waited thirty seconds (actually more) and they still don't work. I have contacted the company to see what they will do.

This has greatly improved all my miters.

I use this on my table saw, scroll saw, & compound miter saw. I use it for checking square on all these before even starting a project. It is great. I wouldn't start a project without checking first. Six & Eight sided boxes have turned out with perfect mitered corners with this. It's very accurate.
