Wana (Sextonia ruba), also known as Red Louro, is a light brown with pink to reddish brown shades. The sapwood is clearly demarcated, with interlocking grain of a medium texture. This moderately stable wood machines, sands and finishes well. Typical uses include furniture, boat building, molding and cabinet work.
