Black Walnut Figured Crotch (Juglans nigra) has been prized by woodworkers and furniture makers for its deep chocolate brown heartwood, distinctive grain patterns, and excellent working characteristics. Color may contain gray, purple, or reddish cast; sapwood is pale yellow-gray to almost white. We have selected some excellent examples of one-of-a-kind works of art. Slab measures 54" x 17-3/4" x 2" and has been surfaced on both sides.
