Avoid this version of this pen

The instruction said to use a spacer between the ink cartridge and the click mechanism. The kit I received did not have the spacer. Assembled the pen without the spacer, because I had nothing to lose. From what I could tell the pen didn't need the spacer. So I assembled it without it, the ink cartridge extended well past the nib when actuated. When the click mechanism is actuated the ink cartridge extended but would not stay extend. In order to remove the click mechanism from the pen, the click mechanism will be destroyed because its construction is plastic. Beautiful pen, but nothing more. I've used the twist version of this pen and in the future will stick to that version

    Small changes from previous product

Use a spacer when assembling so you don't press on the click button or you can end up with a jammed mechanism. Great pen. One of my favorites.
