    The sleek, smooth and refined lines of this pen and the distinct feel in your hand are sure to make it winner. Utilizing single-tube construction, this pen features the easiest assembly of any kit we offer. Nib/nib holder, center ring and the top finial/clip are both pre-assembled. Simply turn the body, press in the top finial/clip assembly, screw the ink refill mechanism on the nib assembly, push the two halves together and you are finished. Woodcraft Gold over Titanium is a superior finish to most other kits.

      Good Stuff

      Though I've had some faulty kits, these are overall pretty great pens. These last longer than other some other vendors do. I made myself a pen and it took six months of constant note taking, research writing, equation solving, and on paper thinking for me to notice any wear on the paint. Even then the wear was minimal. The pen writes as smooth as the acrylic insert with plastic polish. The half twist is smooth and easy to do with one hand. When it comes to the actual assembly of the part, I don't think it could be simpler. If I had a son, and say he's four years old, he'd be able to put it together for me. Without the faulty kits, I would have easily given this product five stars.

      Nice gifts for a newbie to make

      With very little turning experience, this was a great kit with which to learn how to turn pens. There is only a single tube that is turned straight. I purchased 10 of these and after the 3rd or 4th, felt I had them right. They will make nice presents this Christmas. While not my favorite design, it was quick to have success.
