The high quality etched stainless steel blade will be the first thing you notice when you hold the Veritas Bevel Setter in your hand. Substantial in size at 3" x 7", with an anodized aluminum fence with brass fittings, this bevel setter helps you set specific angles (from 0° to 60° in 1/2° increments) on a sliding bevel, as well as read angles already set. Useful for dovetailing, machine setup, or polygon work, common dovetail and polygon angles are highlighted on the reverse side, while the face to the tool is Imperial rule etched.

failed to meet expectation of above avg.
There is quality in the metal part. The adjusting bar is hard to see against the black etching on the scale. Diffcult to set with no detent to nest on the etched scale. I used angle blocks to set the scale. I will keep the tool and attempt to make a adjusting part that will nest in the etched bevel lines.
