Nice hinges for a small box
I made a small keepsake box for my daughter. First time using these hinges. I went with this design because I wanted the hardware hidden. I used the 10mm drill bit, had to pound them in with a mallet. The adjustment screw did no good as the hole was too small to begin with. Next time I will use a larger hole. I did my best to align them to be parallel but I might have been off a little bit. One, or both, creak a little when opening/closing the box. I suspect they are binding. They aren't coming out now so it is what it is, hope they last.
good products good service
made very well
Attractive use in boxes, but you have to be dead on in installation.
Non-Mortise Hinge (1), For 1/2" Panels
I've used these hinges before and love the hidden effect they have. I like the fat that they came individually packaged, it makes it easier for me to hang them up untill I'm ready to use them. Great price as well; I bought 28 of them!
Easy to hide
Great little hinge, use them on fold down doors of small boxs
Small but mighty this is a great hinge
I use this hinge on many projects where ouy want to hide hardware. It need a hole a little larger than 10mm 13/32 works well.
I utilized these hinges for a picture, 36"x40" to hange and hide a built in safe in the wall. I used three of these hinges and they have to be perfectly aligned, not a fraction off or they will bind. With an additional hour of adjustment and use of glue, I finally got them installed. I am not sure how long they will stay in place, even with the glue, untill one falls out. I will look for another type of hinge for future work.
