    Details

Whether you’re a hobbyist or a furnituremaker, you’ll be delighted with the results you get with this all natural wood veneer by Sauers and Company. Sapele is a member of the Mahogany family and like Mahogany, this deciduous species grows quite large...up to 150 feet tall. Sapele is red to reddish-brown in color with a fine texture and semi-open pores. This highly sought-after Pommele ("pom-el-LAY") Sapele is stunning. Pommele Sapele resembles rain drops cascading down a pane of glass. Pommele Sapele readily accepts stains and finishes. It is important to note that the figure in this veneer really "pops" when an oil or lacquer based finish is applied. Pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) veneer is a type of paper-backed veneer that is a simple and easy alternative for applying veneer without the need for a liquid adhesive. Utilizing 3M™ adhesives, PSA veneer bonds to most smooth surfaces that are dry and free of dust and contaminants.
