Very quiet and seems solidly built

Wanted to get a small and quiet compressor. Although I just picked this up yesterday, it seems to fit my needs exactly. Thought I'd pass on what I've discovered so far. The compressor is certainly extremely quiet but not the claimed 60 db unless you are more than 50 feet away. At 3 feet, the sound measures 71 db which is VERY quiet for a compressor. Clearly no need for hearing protection. It takes the compressor 55 seconds to fill its tank from 0 psi (and that includes 10 seconds of its "cold start feature" where it vents the compressed gas.) Instructions are understandable but very generic (ex instructions tell you to replace the oil periodically in an oiless compressor!) The instructions state that it is rated at 70% duty cycle but I doubt that I'll every ask my compressor to work that hard.

      Super quiet and efficient

I use this mostly for pin nailing. It is so quiet I never need to use ear protection. It recovers quickly and lets me get my work done fast. Very easy to move around my shop. I don't leave it plugged in when not in use so I have not had any problem with it starting up on its own. Fantastic purchase for the price.

Great Addition to Shop and Home!

I'm very impressed with this compressor and will attempt to compress my impressions: - Quiet and portable - Plenty of power for nailing, inflation - Good customer support - Well-built and compact Best tool purchase I've made in years!

      Excellent purchase

I use the compressor in my wood shop. I wanted something quiet, we'll I have it. The product description says SUPER QUIET and they mean it. When it kicks in you hardly know it. It also has a fast recovery time. It was pretty much ready to go right out of the box. The only thing I had to do was add the intake filter. I have one minor problem, it kicks on every so often when not in use. I am going to check my air hose after Christmas. I had to use my old air hose as this compressor did not come with one.

      Super quiet

I use this compressor in my wood shop. It lives up to the claim of super quiet. This compressor worked right out of the box, all I had to do was put the intake filter on. With the size of the tank and quick recovery I can blow air and have a nice steady stream. One thing that bothers me is it kicks on every so often when not being used. I may be the old hose I put on. This compressor doesn't come with one. It is very easy to adjust the output air pressure as the gauges and adjustment knob are right in front.
