    Not exact

The shaft end will not fit through the little compression fitting tailstock end. I can get in a little to it will hold it but the adjustability on it is gone as the rod will not slide through the fitting even though without the fitting the rod will easily slide through the rest of the tailstock end. I'm just going to get a 2nd adjustable mandrel for my shorter pens and use this one for ones that usually require a full length mandrel.

    Perfect for my use

This is a spare shaft in case I damage the original and the price is right

    No headline

Looks good, runs true, works in my equipment. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck it ain't no bear.

I have several set up for the different pens that I make.

    I needed a new mandrel

When the end of the shaft was threaded, the diameter increased slightly making it difficult to slide bushings over the threads. The threads were different than the original mandrel so my original nut would not work on the new mandrel
