POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
After very limited use of the WE256, it stopped working. Multiple attempts to contact company via email have yielded NO REPLY. Also NO REPLY from the WeCheer Canada Service Company. Woodcraft was unable to provide any additional information. I'd suggest Woodcraft NOT carry a product line for which there is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

Great tool for finish work!
Just what I was looking for to finish projects.

Exactly what I was looking for
This product is exactly what I was looking for. It is a rotary tool and a reciprocating carver.

Didn't Last
One of the rings for the flexible shaft broke after a couple of months of light use. Managed to rig a shop fix. After a few years of continued light use the motor went. The tool is not constructed for professional work.

First time power carver
This is the first time I have had and used such a tool, but it accomplished the first tasks I used it for without a problem. Some of my projects are so thin that chisels or carving knives just bring too much pressure to bear. Looking forward to getting to know its capabilities better, but I'm already sold on its usefulness.

Power Carving Kit
The carver was confusing to assemble for a beginner/intermediate. I had to have someone else put it together since the directions are almost nonexistant. I do like the way the carver is more effective than most hand tools on hard wood. I had to sharpen the blades or the cut was uneven and choppy even on bass wood. Once sharpened, the carver produced a smooth cut. Overall, it was a pretty good choice.

"only the best" I'm not so sure.
I was given this as a gift and told that it was the best on the market. After having it for a year and using it 3 times on small wood projects, it quit on me. I contacted wecheer and found it only had a six month warranty. I looked to see what it cost and couldn't believe that they claim to be the best and charge [$]but only back it up with a sub-par warranty. Not very impressed.
